Attachmate, a leading provider of
host access management solutions, has set up its first Asian regional
technical support center in Hong Kong to cover the expected increase in
customers adopting the e-business model.
The Hong Kong center will provide technical support services to Asian
corporate customers including those from Greater China, Korea, Japan,
Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Thailand and the
Philippines, as well as possible support for Australia and New Zealand.
"We are the first vendor in the host access management market in Asia to
invest in a regional support center," said Russell Pochop, Attachmate's
technical support manager for Asia Pacific and Latin America.

of support wherever they are," added Pochop. "Our technical support center
guarantees quick response and access to highly trained technical support
professionals, via
the phone and the Web as well as on-site."
In addition to the regional technical support center, Attachmate also has
its Asian product development center in Hong Kong.
According to company representatives, Attachmate's regional support center
in Hong Kong will have expertise in host access management technology and
provide such services as post-sales support, product evaluation and testing.
Customers will have a choice of subscribing to an annual support plan or to a
pay-per-incident plan.
