| Mercury Interactive and Symantec this week announced support for testing Java applications developed using Symantec's Visual Cafe Enterprise Suite.
Mercury Interactive's testing solutions were created to ensure functionality and performance for the deployment of Java-based applications.
Mercury Interactive added Visual Cafe support to its WinRunner, XRunner and LoadRunner automated testing tools. WinRunner and XRunner are functional testing tools for Microsoft Windows and X-Windows which ensure that applications work as expected. These utilities now include built-in support for testing Java applets and applications built using any of the foundation classes from Symantec's Visual Cafe.
