Just one week after signing a $32 million agreement with Indiana's M*Plan The TriZetto Group, Inc., the Newport Beach, Calif.-based healthcare ASP, today announced it has signed a five-year, $14 million contract with Capital Blue Cross of Harrisburg, Pa.
Under the terms of the agreement, TriZetto will host and manage Facets, its managed-care administrative software for the 1.4 million-member health plan, and provide provider-credentialing services.

TriZetto says that for a monthly fee, Capital will have access to Facets technology through TriZetto's main data center in Greenwood Village, Colo. and the software will perform functions such as enrollment, member eligibility and benefit tracking, billing and claims processing.

Trizetto describes the firm as a "one-stop shop" for healthcare organizations, offering a combination of hosted applications and provider credentialing services through its Erisco and RIMS software brands and its HealthWeb e-business platform.
"Because TriZetto is focused 100 percent on healthcare, we have a thorough understanding of the business and the regulatory complexities facing the industry, such as HIPAA," said Dan Spirek, president of TriZetto's Business Solutions division.
