InstantOnline is a set of Java Servlets that are embedded in Web pages
using "servlet" tags. The servlets run on the server and generate dynamic
HTML, then are merged with static HTML in the Web page where they are
embedded.
InstantOnline provides developers with an alternative to proprietary
server-side technologies such as Microsoft's Active Server Pages or
Allaire's Cold Fusion. The product is supported on all major platforms and
contains components used for accessing information from a database and
presenting the data as a table or free-form HTML pattern.
