Toronto, Ontario-based TD Bank Financial Group launched
TD Access Web Banking, a secure Internet service that allows customers to do their banking online 24 hours a day.
"TD Access Web Banking builds on the foundation of our successful TD Access
PC service which currently serves over 180,000 customers," said Steve
Gesner, Vice President, Interactive Services. "TD Access Web Banking allows
customers to do virtually all of their everyday banking any time, from
anywhere in the world."
The new service allows customers to view a consolidated Financial Summary of
balances on all their accounts and investments; pay bills; check account
activity; transfer funds; and download data to Microsoft Money and Intuit's
Quicken (via OFX format).
Later this year, services will be expanded to include access to business
accounts and integration with Waterhouse National Bank, allowing customers to access a range of American banking products and services.
TD Access Web Banking uses strong 128 bit encryption and is designed to
preserve the confidentiality of account data as well as the integrity of all
transactions.

Current TD Access PC Banking customers can access the new service
immediately using their current Connect ID and password. New customers can
register for the service by calling 1-888-983-TDPC.
