Premier Internet Corp., in
conjunction with WebTrends and Interverse, this week launched Web-Design.com, an international database
in which Web designers can list themselves and their services.
Citing the explosive growth of the Internet, the new site will become a
centralized database that will enable those looking for Web site designers
and developers to easily locate them using a simple Web interface.
Web designers can list themselves at no cost; the trio of companies that
developed the site simply wishes to gain more exposure for their own
development software.
Once developers and designers have registered on the site, they will be added
to the "fast search" database in which users can conduct searches by
Country, State, City, Postal Code, or Name.

The site's owners are hoping that Web developers will spread the word. With
active participation and promotion, the Web community can help the site to
grow. When initially signing up, developers will only be asked for "just
enough information" to allow for a fast search for "things that matter."
