| How often do you brush your dogs teeth? | | Published by: rose 2009-01-08 |
I have 2 German shepherds and I brush theirs 3 times a week. They love it!
Everyday.
I have an Italian Greyhound and they are prone to dental problems.
That's great but you should maybe give them a dental chew now and again instead of brushing the teeth it might wear away the enamel. I brush my dog's teeth at least once a week. I try for three times a week but I must admit I don't always...but hey that is a heck of a lot better than the people that never ever brush their dogs' teeth! I wish more people would do so, most don't realize that periodontal disease is the most prevalent canine health problem, with 80% of dogs having some form of it by the age of 2-3.
If you can, 5 times weekly! It's great for their teeth and helps them live longer!!
