So I am good friends with a beautiful girl, but I am not sure how to go about asking her out. My main concern is that she may not be interested in me. We get along great and we are interested in the same stuff (music, etc.), but I don't want to ruin a good friendship by asking her out and making things awkward. Any advice would be helpful. The best thing for you to do would be to just talk to her about it.
You could try just asking her out but you have to be careful that she is fully aware that you're asking her out on a date. If you don't make that clear she could just assume you're hanging out as friends and then, if you happened to try something, it could freak her out. Just be really straightforward and let her know that, if she doesn't feel the same way about you, you don't want anything to change between the two of you because her friendship means a lot to you.
And don't worry, i know exactly how you feel, i've been on both sides of a problem like this.

Try and talk to her about the kind of guy she is looking for. This might help you out a little. If she really doesn't like you then she will talk about someone who is totally different than you.

just flirt with her lol look this always works for me and this is how i find out if they like me say "a purple unicorn told me i liked you" but say it in a flirty way or you can say "i wanna steal something, wheres ur heart?" but dont say it in a playing around way be serious about it and flirty and if she blushes, big smile, says "awwww", etc. then that means shes interested so after that or the next day what ever is more comftorable with you say "you wanna hang out this weekend?"

Well this same situation just occurred with me and my best guy friend. But honestly I think as long as you make sure that even if she turns you down that you stay friends with her and don't let it become awkward, you should go for it. I know my best guy friend doesn't regret telling me and we are not dating right now.

Okay, well one of my best guy friends was going through the same problem. He wanted to ask me out but wasn't sure what I would say. One day, we were sitting together and I had this notebook that some of my friends were signing. He asked if he could write on a page so I passed him the notebook, thinking that he was going to sign it or something. After he finished writing he put it face down on the table and looked kinda distracted.
