painting, drawing, colouring pictures in (you can draw them yourself), building blocks, cars, read them a book, play doh (you can mix flour with some water and it'll make dough they can play with if you have none from the shop), you can turn on music and when you turn it off the kids have to freeze, put some chairs in a circle/row so that there's one less than the number of kids and play the music and when it stops they have to sit down. ive babysitted a lot! and from that i learned that if u turn on the tv they could stay there for hours!! But once they get bored they get tierd of watching tv they want a snack! so yah.
if they have a fenced in yard.. have them play outside. They like any kind of games. I am sure they have tons of them. Movies.. again they probably have tons of them .. disney, pixar anything like that. Food.. chips or popcorn are always good! Juice boxes, pizza, hotdogs (cut them small though).
They are pretty easy to please!!!!
try reading stories, simple colouring (not within the lines lol)
let them help you do dishes mix the mixture for a cake, let them make simple sandwiches themselves (just no sharp knives) Movies should be limited as they delay speech, play dough is fun and safe just put paper down under the table. finger painting, they love sand and water,in fact anything that they can safely partipate in they will enjoy as long as you do it with them
Have fun
just turn on disney channel or put in a disney movie like Aladdin, Mulan, Tarzan, etc.
put in a disney movie. Nuff said.
Easy to make crafts are always a hit. Find ideas online that are age appropriate for each child. Games are always good... my 3 year old is learning the memory game right now. Food should be healthy and make sure there aren't any allergies before you give something to them. Play outside... ride a bike, take a walk, play on the swingset, etc. I would recommend not having the tv on unless it's close to bedtime and the kids need to wind down. ask the kids what they wanna do..,
and ask there parents if they are allowed to do that.
every kid is different...
some kids just love to watch tv.
others can't sit still, they are always on the go.
when i used to Baby sit, first thing i'd do is ask the parent what they could and couldn't do, then say so kids what do you wanna do first?
it was usually karaoke, the little girl i watched just loved to sing.
put in a movie and pop them some popcorn. don't get them too hiper though.
play board games, duck duck goose, draw or color with them
watch a movie or watch cartoons with them
Children like to be helpers, it makes them feel grown up, if you are also doing housekeeping have the oldest one help unload the dishwasher or put away clothes. If you don't then they all can help pick up the toy room. Having six children I love it when I come home and the babysitter has cleaned up a bit. Otherwise, coloring is always good, duck duck goose, books, if one is ten then have him/her read the book, or take turns reading a page at a time. Hope this helps
Play some board games, watch kiddie movies and cut their food if they're young.
Think back to when you were their age and remember what you liked to do.
