how to load url from external file.txt

i'm trying to find tutorial for how to load url to my buttons from external file which is .txt. can somebody help me please? thank you

I have the same question.

I want to change the getURL("url"); of a button by loading the variable from a text file.

So, for example, if the external text file is changed to variable1=home.htm, than the url of the button would read getURL("home.htm");

What do you think?

Nevermind, I figured it out.

call the variable using LoadVariables("text_file.txt","");
then on the button, on(Release){ getURL(variable1);}

it was pretty simple actually...

Mabey I misunderstood your question. Do you want to dynamically change the url's of buttons on your site? Or do you just want to load an external text file that has links in the text file?
Tell me exactly what you want to do and how you want to do it.

thanx man but this is not exactly what a i need. anyway it is useful. but i just need to put my url in a txt file. something like:

url1=#&url2=#&url3=#&url4=#&url5=#&url6=#&url7=#&iurl1=#&iurl2=#&iurl3=#&iurl4=#&enddata=1
i want to put url on each "#" sign and to connect this with my flash fail.
