Well, anybody who played PlanetSide (myself included) will know what kind of game Huxley is (MMOFPS).

PS was great initially and got fucked due to SOE's bad updates, Huxley not only looks absolutely fantastic (Unreal 3 Engine) but seems to be avoiding a lot of what killed PS.

Anybody else looking forward to this? I've been following the limited info for a while, and I'm sure E3 will shed a lot of light on it.

Due for worldwide release later this year on the PC and X360, the game is Korean developed but is being translated as they go along.

is it going to be like PlanetSide and be pure faction vs faction or are they going to factor in like an NPC fighting kind of thing to gain upgrades and exp or whatever they're calling it.

i've played planetside for a few years, I saw the ad for huxley, looks fun, hopefully it'll be a good game that dosen't get fucked up with fucking mech warriors >

Well I just learned Huxley is all instanced, anybody who played PS will remember that this was not the case.

Think of it like Guild Wars, the max Huxley offers is 100v100, which is pretty cool I guess but it's not -that- MMOFPS is it =/

BF2142 anyone? ^^

I'll play Huxley in an open beta or something. Planetside battles larger than 100v100 were usually too chaotic to be fun or feel like you made a difference, but it was cool that they happened. Especially when it was a 3-way massive battle.

I'm also hanging out for BF2142.

Played Planetside and im getting dragged in to the Huxley Beta by my m8 who still plays planetside (Bloodhawk). Looks good but we will see.

Yah I read that also, I dont like the 100vs100 thing, mine as well just play bf2, if its not 500+vs500+, its not a mmofps imo, well at least it won't feel like one.

Planetside is the best unpopular game that ever was. I think we all know it.

Theres got to be hundreds of thousands of people who played it at some point, I run into more ex-planetside players than ex-eq players these days.

That said, you can't go into huxley expecting to relive the nostolgia that you had for a bit in planetside. It looks cool, but I'm trying to put Planetside out of my mind before going in because I know it won't be anywhere near the same. Until then, I'll be playing World War 2 Online ^^
