I had alot of trouble importing my ubb-data: Ship of Fools: My God, my God why have you forsaken me?:: that many Christians cant read the Psalm without importing their atonement Its just some of the data I like to collect - alongside an interpretation like http://forum.ship-of-fools.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=print_topic;f=15;t=001067HOME |
1) Every member is imported twice (mentioned b4 I believe)
2) I have more than 300 members but only 8 members were imported (16 to be exact, because of the double importing)
3) When I wanted to import threads, only one thread was imported, then it stopped...
I hope you can help me out on this, because I don't wanna loose my old members/threads :(
Thanks in advance!
Did it say 'completed importing' or did it just stop? If it just stopped, then it sounds like PHP either ran out of memory, or hit its time limit. Mackie Forums Home: MdR / win98 compatability?:: However importing them to a DAW (tools or tracktion) is a totally different I have talked to so many people that have a friend who does it all the time but http://forums.mackie.com/scripts/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=2&t=003630HOME |

Thanx for the support, but it's fixed! I installed php4 in cgi-mode and everything's working fine now :)
This does sound like some sort of timeout/connection problem, either with PHP or with the web server. It should continue loading posts and members until it tells you it is done. If it stops like this, there must be some problem with your configuration. Care to post a few details please?

I'm running 5.38c and did try it forum by forum...Just one thread was imported...
My server (www.pair.com) is running on freebsd
Any clue what's wrong?
It just stopped, but did that very quickly (< 1 sec)...So I don't think it's a timeout?
Same for threads and members
what UBB version are you using?
as for threads, you should import forum by forum.
Mas, are you running on NT? if so, IIS or Apache?
Yikes! Big PERL-like performance hit by using CGI mode.
