I can not get php to recognize the mysql extenstion in phpifno. I have made the changes in the php.ini but still nothing. I have even changes the extention_dir in the php.ini and it does not take. Do i need to change this info somewhere else also. For these changes to be reflected all i should have to do is make the change save it, then stop/start IIS, correct?

I have now gotten the php.ini file to take my extention_dir changes by putting the php.ini file in the windows dir. I still am not getting the mysql info in my phpinfo return. If you're running IIS php, you need to define where you're php.ini file is via a registery edit. I'm fairly certin this is still in the php instructions. Also you should restart IIS for the changes to take place.
