OP isn't askin me if I want to Allow or Deny any of the leaktests. What settings do I need enable or set to a certain level in order for this to happen?
I have went from Rules Wizard to Block Most under Policy option and neither seem to be asking me if I want to Allow or Block the tests.
Should it not pop up with a message askin me?
Also, I have tried doing a Quick Test at PCFlank and this is the result:
Check for vulnerabilities of your computer system to remote attacks
We have scanned your system for open ports and for ports visible to others on the Internet. As a rule an open port means your computer is vulnerable to attacks by crackers. They gain access to your computer and its files through these open ports.
Safe!
Trojan horse check
The test scanned your system to find signs of a Trojan. If a Trojan horse is on your computer a cracker can access your system's files and your personal data.
Warning!
The test found visible ports on your system: 27374, 12345, 31337.
The following Trojans use these ports: SubSeven, NetBus, Back Orifice Dance opf The Planets - New mailing-list - Astronomy Forum:: This is just to bring your attention to a new maling-list dealing with the good ancient Dance of The Planets solar system simulation software. http://www.astronomyforum.net/amateur-astronomy-forum/38655-dance-opf-planets-new-mailing-list.htmlHOME | Online ANN Memory Model-Based Method for Unified OPF and Voltage :: In this paper a new artificial neural network (ANN) memory model-based algorithm for unified OPF is proposed. Although these ports are visible, they are not open, so your system is not infected. However, having visible ports on your system means your computer can be "seen" over the Internet. This makes it very easy for skillful intruders to explore your system.
Recommendation:
Install personal firewall software and use an anti-Trojan program. If you have a firewall, check if it is set to make all your computer ports invisible (hidden). If it is, then it failed miserably. Replace it and redo this test.
Browser privacy check
The test checked if your web browser reveals any private information while you visit Web sites. Usually such information is: the last site visited, your locale and who your Internet Service Provider is.
Attention!

Recommendation:
We advise you to get personal firewall software. If you already have a firewall program adjust it to block cookies.
Can you please advise me what I might try doing/changing to achieve better results.
I use a PPPoE dsl connection through a Linksys 4 port BEFSR41 router on windowsXPpro with the latest critical patches installed.
under options>system ..do u have stealth ticked?.Also some progs like updaters ,leaktests will use your proxy server (like naviscope) to connect so if youve allowed your proxy then you are allowing that too.To stop this go into options>system>global application and system rules> and untick allow loopback .Delete your rules and let rules wizard prompt you for the rules. If these suggestions dont work wait for someone who uses routers etc to post ..shouldnt have to wait long.

Welcome to the forums, c0n73nd3r.
Outpost will generally only give a popup asking you to Allow or Deny outgoing traffic - incoming traffic will either be in response to something you have sent out (and would therefore be allowed) or unsolicited (which would be blocked, unless you had set specific rules to allow it, and most likely noted by the Attack Detection plugin). The Attack Detection plugin logs should provide good feedback of the online scan.
The warning about port 27374, 12345 and 31337 are quite likely due to your ISP blocking them (in a measure to prevent the use of these trojans) - the ISP would then be returning a "Port Unreachable" message to the online scan site. The only way I can see to verify this would be to try a command like telnet (using one of the 3 port numbers) from the command prompt - this will fail but if the ISP is the one blocking then you should see the "Port Unreachable" response in your Outpost Allowed logs coming from one of their routers, rather than from the site itself. However, these ports are being blocked, that is the most important thing. It is possible that your Linksys router is the one doing the blocking, but I would expect more ports to be showing as "Closed" if that was the case.
With regard to cookies, use the Active Content plugin to Disable them. Be aware that many sites will need them (especially shopping sites) so be prepared to create lots of specific site entries to allow them.
