I just recently softmodded my xbox and installed xbmc. The controller I was using before hand was working just fine, but after the install it didn't respond to anything I tried. I was able to hook up my usb keyboard and mouse, and explore the awesomeness of xbmc. I've confirmed that all four ports work, and I've tried the controller in both xbmc and the saved microsoft dash. FTP, samba shares, and http web control all work. The only thing that's busted is the controller, and I don't have another xbox or controller to try out :( General Networking/Lan/Wan - Communications/Networks - Computing :: Q: how can we configure authorisation on cisco secure access control server A: This is a wireless USB adapter which will be fine for your Laptop, http://en.allexperts.com/q/General-Networking-Lan-1049/indexExp_76290.htmHOME | monolithic kernel issues, damn modprobe - Linux Forums:: 10 posts - Last post: Dec 25, 2002Initialize USB controller and HID devices usb=0 if ! grep -iq "nousb" /proc/ cmdline 2>/dev/null && ! grep -q "usb" /proc/devices 2>/dev/null http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/linux-newbie/232-monolithic-kernel-issues-damn-modprobe.htmlHOME |
Any suggestions?
Also can you use a usb wireless stick with xbmc? I read that it depends on built in libraries and so you need a wireless bridge (preferably from msoft...). Anyone know a way around this? I would think if you can install a xbox linux distro, you should be able to get this working no? if the controller doesnt work in the msdash, its busted and you'll need to get a new one.
you should be able to use any wireless bridge. just configure it accordingly with the correct ssid and encryption settings to match your ap. as far as the xbox knows, its just using an ethernet connection.
