Hi, i'm new to the forum.
I've been using Outpost for about a month now and have found it a very good firewall, easy to setup and the ability to define ports. Before, I used to use ZA but after a friend suggested to try Outpost I never looked back.
Now on to my problem. After browsing through my program files I noticed that my Outpost directory was at a large size. At first I thought it might be the log file as I get a vast amount of ICMP attacks (500 in 1 hour). I cleared out all the logs but still I have the "op_data.mdb" file at 521mb. Is it supposed to be this size?
Thx for any help.
Nope, it is certainly not supposed to be that size. Due to program limitations, you cannot set a maximum logfile size. You can, however, turn off logging completely. See this post (http://www.outpostfirewall.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7392&highlight=rename+opdata.dll) from Paranoid2000.
