I was just wondering what plug-ins u would recommend for outpost pro and what ones would u say that are not really required.
Thanks
The Mul :)
It is a matter of personal choice The Mul.
I myself don't use the content filter and because of my router, the attack detection filter does nothing as any unrequested traffic including scans and attacks are dropped at the router and never make it to my computers (Outpost)
I guess that goes for Blockpost too. I never see anything in the blockpost logs but I haven't deleted it as it doesn't take much in resources (and I like Dmut:) Security Hole In Outpost ? [Archive] - Outpost Users Support Forum:: you and your family online is Outpost Personal Firewall Pro, the worlds 3. choose application or plug-ins. 4. click Add http://www.outpostfirewall.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-9242.htmlHOME | Frog dowloads:: Download Sapphire Plug-ins and crack, www.kazaa lait.com.br, free troyan remover 1.9.3 pro, free download symbian webcam, Outpost Firewall Pro 2.1 crack download, http://www.avantisedu.com/spg/bbs/table/board_3/Frog dowloads.htmlHOME |
I love the attachments filter as email attachments are all renamed so they can't run unless you specifically open them. The filter caught one virus for me back when I was using NAV, that NAV missed. I did a manual scan with AVG and found it to be a virus. AVG has been my main AV since.
If others chime in, you will here that they don't use some of the pluggins I use, and use some that I don't. Like I said, it is a personal choice. They are easy enough to install and uninstall (just make sure you exit and shutdown Outpost first.)
Have fun experimenting,
Chris
Many thanks for all your help and I will study this information that u have suggested.

I'd suggest checking section G of 1 for some plugin recommendations.
