Hiya,
I have recently bought an Xbox High Definition AV Pack (Component video output), but I can't seem to get XBMC to output to 720p. The only resolution options that are available are "PAL 16:9", "PAL 4:3" and "Auto". Any idea how I can output to 720p? Do I need to upgrade the MS Dashboard? Very easy, when you have an X3 chip.
Go to BIOS, Settings, Region settings (set to NTSC) Video settings (enable 720 and 1080), boot to dash. This should work.
guess what? somebody else had this problem before.

You need to set it to NTSC first. Then enable 720p in the microsoft dashboard.
Do you own a Xecuter3 modchip ?
