I have read the layout/panel documentation but am sure that I am still not grasping the various layouts correctly.
Would appreciate if someone could suggest how I could achieve such (attached) a view with out using any markup of my own. I can make it by using plain html but I would like to create it using by using panels and layout of Ext.

Basically I have a panel in which I would like to have 2 buttons positioned as shown.

If you use buttons config option of panel you can place buttons left, center or right but not as on the picture.
I would say that you could use a column layout or an anchor layout or combination of both to achieve what you want.
