I had a leak in the wall from my showerhead. I went to unscrew the showerhead and it cracked off in my hand. The crack is down at the thread (where it would attach to the pipe in the wall). 3/4 of the thread are still in the socket and there is nothing to grab onto to pull it out. It also looks a little rusted in there. Is this what I would use a pipe extractor for? And if so how do they work?
More than likely your gonna have to get into the wall behind the shower head and try to replace that drop eared elle....If you do that...Then it might be a good time just to go ahead and replace the whole faucet..
