I hade all 4 of my wisdom teeth remover 9 days ago. they gave me oxy codone for the pain, and I used it the first 5 days and ran out. I called the doctor and he said he couldn'r proscribe me any more pain meds cuz they shouldn't be hurting still?? Ok so I went to my normal dentist, and she said it wasn't dry socket and she though they were healing ok, so gave me vicodin, and thats what im on now. Its been four days now and they still hurt....?

I have enuf meds still, but the hydro codone is just not working, and I even take two when I take it. Tonight I tried a oxycotin a friend gave me and it didn't help either. They all make me feel good some of the pills I got the first time even like put me to sleep, but I can still feel the throbbing in my mouth. Is there anything I can take or do to get rid of this pain?? should I go back to my dentist and ask her again??? every morning its the worst, and like right now its 2:36 AM and im awake from the hurting.. It will be worse tomorrow around 8:00 AM
if I touch my face it hurts, and if I yell or blow or smoke (I even quit smoking for this) I tried one and couldn't. Now 9 days later im still eating soup and soft stuff, and i've lost 11 pounds. I asked around and I don't know anyone who had it last this long all my friends said just 3 days. What should I do Im afraid it will never end??
Its the bottom left side and it kinda feels like all my teeth on the botom or hurting. if I tough any of them I can feel it, its like their loose or something. and when I brush they bleed where the wisdom teeth were is that normal?? Could the doctor have done something wrong???
I have a whole sleve of tattoos on my arm back and leg, and I can handle pain ok I thought. I've been through 4 root cannals and did ok but this is killing me. Please any advice would really be great. Thank you.
Try some Ibuprofen like advil or motrin. It will reduce swelling better than vicodin. Sometimes this can relieve oral pain even better than these narcotics.
As for the pain, no that's not normal and if it's not dry sockets, not sure what it could be. Sorry.
