18 - 5 - 0.2
18 - 5 = 13 so..
13 - 0.2 = 12.8 Think about it like this, imaging that its 10 - 2 so 8..
Then make it 0.8

I can not simplify it any more

(15+21) divide by 3
15+21 = 36
36 divided 3 = 12, you can fit the number 12 into ,36, 3 times.

There is no divided key so people use the / key.

PEMDAS< Please Entertain My Dear Aunt Sally.

Step 1 P=Parenthesis do everything inside the parentheses
Step 2 E=Exponents do these next
Step 3 M=Multiply
Step 4 D=Divide
Step 5 A=Addition
Step 6 S=Subtract

At times you may have all EMDAS inside the Parenthesis you still do them in the order of steps.
Divide sign is under the question mark

18-5.2(15+21)/3

First parenthesis, 18-5.2(15 +21)/3 = 18-5.2(36)/3
Next Exponents there aren't any
Next multiply 18-5.2(36)/3=18-187.2/3
Next Divide 18-187.2/3=18-62.4
Next Add (there isn't any)
Next subtract 18-62.4=-44.4

Here's a very easy way to remember the order of operations:
just remember PEMDAS. It stands for Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition and Subtraction, and that's the right order. If you don't know what exponents are, they are something like multiplication, but just skip this step and go straight to the multiplication :) You first calculate what you have in the parenthesis, then multiply and so on.
For your problems:
18 - 5.2
You don't have parenthesis, so first you have to do the multiplication and then the subtraction:
18 - 5.2 = 18 - 10 = 8

(15+21) : 3
First do the operations in the parenthesis, in this case it is addition, then do the division:
(15+21):3 = 36 : 3 = 12

In the first question you do the addition first because it is in brackets and you do brackets before you do anything else, multiplication, division, indicies, addition, subtraction.

Then you divide it by 3

And the divide button in above your 8 on your num pad on your keyboard.

So (15+21) divide by 3 = 12
