Any news from WinME users who tried the new PRO2 update?
Does this new update allow one to connect online consistently?
Thanks for any input,
gunnarj :)

Thank you, but I cannot take the credit that you give me. There are the Techs an Developers at Agnitum, Mods here, Beta Testers and other OP users that have put alot of time and hours into making OP what it is. My time as a Beta Tester is very short compared to the hours others have put into OP. I'm running Windows ME and experienced the shutdown
problems with V2. I downloaded the latest V2 and so far it seems ok.

If any of you find any bugs or have any problems please post back here and let us know so we can try to reproduce the problem/bug and also turn in a ticket to Agnitum if you cannot find a fix here in the forum.
gunnarj I agree with cw please post back and let us know, just make sure you do a clean uninstall and install. Just remember to follow Davids OP V2 FAQ here, http://www.outpostfirewall.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7188
Hey Ronald glad to hear the latest build is working for u.

Thanks for your replies and information, cwbrowne and goonman.
It sounds very good so far. Most likely I will now try the new version again, after uninstalling V.1Pro.
The Outpost firewall is worth waiting for fixes - in general it is a top-notch app.
Thx again, and hopefully the word will get out to all of those Win98/WinME users who were waiting for the connection difficulties to be fixed.

cwbrowne I have had no problem accessing the net or getting mail, even after numerious reboots, start-ups and shut downs.
OpProV2 build 238/290 is working fine for me as long as I run it as a Program and not in Service Mode. Running in Service Mode (or letting it load as Normal Start-up) makes my WinMe run a little erratic and with the programs I run. I have found it operates better for me this way if I let Op run as a program and start in my Start-up folder.
