Hey all, Im new to this forum and also new to xbmc.
I've encountered some problems lately with my SMB. I hope someone can help me out.
The problem:
I want to stream files from my computer and i could do that until today. I can open the SMB network, then open the workgroup, then my computers name is there, but then when i shall open it folder nothing happens. Not even a warning message.
The xbox is still connected to the internet though, i can see weather etc.
I've tried disabling my firewall, no anti-virus programs. Switched network-cards. Tried changing the network setup to static, automatic... Tried another XBMC verision too. I'm going crazy.
My setup is like this:
XP pro with 2 Network cards, one for network to xbox and one to my modem.
XBMC 2.01
XBOX v.1
I hope someone can help me!

Why do you have a separate network card for your pc/xbox connection. Is your PC acting as a proxy server for the internet connection? If so, and you are still getting internet connectivity on the xbox, you may want to check your sharing options on the PC or take a look at your permissions. Also check your services and make sure nothing is turned off that shouldn't be. Do you have another computer that you can try, to determine whether it is xbox vs. PC related.
