Hi, I'm sure this is a really fundamental thing that I'm misunderstanding, but I'm having serious problems finding any actual files. I've set up a number of shares which seem to work, until I actually enter a folder and nothing is there. The ones I've set up so far are an iTunes share where all of my playlists/library/podcasts show up. But as soon as I click on any of the folders, they are empty.
This is the same with network shares, lots of folders, no files. I've had a look around FAQs and various forums but can't find the answer. I've also had a look in settings to see whether there is some option like "Hide everything so that XBMC is practically useless" but to no avail.

I can see the folders but don't see any files!
Tried everything! No firewalls on, No virusscanner running...

Make sure you're in the right sections. You can only see files with music extensions in music, video extensions in video, etc.
