Problems accessing files.

Published by: jack 2009-01-07
  • Hi, I'm sure this is a really fundamental thing that I'm misunderstanding, but I'm having serious problems finding any actual files. I've set up a number of shares which seem to work, until I actually enter a folder and nothing is there. The ones I've set up so far are an iTunes share where all of my playlists/library/podcasts show up. But as soon as I click on any of the folders, they are empty.

This is the same with network shares, lots of folders, no files. I've had a look around FAQs and various forums but can't find the answer. I've also had a look in settings to see whether there is some option like "Hide everything so that XBMC is practically useless" but to no avail.

  • I am in the right sections, but it doesn't seem to work. :oo:

  • Make sure you're in the right sections. You can only see files with music extensions in music, video extensions in video, etc.
