Problems with mode 1 cds

Hi all,

i replaced the xbox dvd rom with a lg 8163 and flashed the firmware.

Spent $1000+ on Premiere Pro, but it's still too ::

reading orginal xbox games, dvd movies, dvd movie backups and data dvds work.
Also mode2 burnded disks work great.
When i put in a mode1 burned disk the drive spins up short and then it seems to stop (no more noise).
When i go to filemanager it shows empty. The cds read fine in my pc.

Any ideas?

i am running T3CH XBMC 2007-08-05 SVN rev9834.

Sorry that i reply to my own post but anyone a clue what i can do to get xbmc read mode1 cd. Or is a hardware limitation?
