Who can substantiate that Jan Berry (of the rock group Jan and Dean)
attended medical school, and where?
Almost all biographies of Jan Berry marvel at Berry's ability to
juggle medical school and a successful musical career at the same
time, but I have found no definite documentation confirming that he
was enrolled in medical school. The medical schools that Berry most
likely would have attended in the LA area would have been UCLA or USC.
Documents, photographs, transcripts supporting his attendance of
medical school are desired. References to websites that say "Jan
Berry went to medical school" are a dime a dozen, and for this
question, would be completely unconvincing.

Hello.
Before his 1966 accident, Jan Berry was attending the California
College of Medicine (CCM), an osteopathic medical school that became
part of the University of California - Irvine.
Numerous sources support Berry's attendance at the California College
of Medicine (CCM) in the mid-1960s.
From Jan Berry's official web site:
" Having progressed from pre-med at UCLA, Jan was now a full-time
student at the California College of Medicine (CCM). He had been
accepted to the prestigious school in March, and as part of his
first-year curriculum was enrolled in a biochemistry course"
