with Ronaldinho, Okocha, Heinze, El Karkouri and many more, is PSG the best French side of the recent to have produced many quality players for top-class European football? what do you think lads?
i just think that france does a real good job at bringing players from around the world (especially africa and south america, and a little asia with the japanese Matsui on Le Mans and the South Korean international Ahn who scored that goal against italy in the world who plays on Metz)... i guess france is considered the perfect chammpionnat to start off and get recognition... they hope, as a result, to get the attention of teams in spain/italy/england... but france has greatly benefited from this, because great players from africa (drogba, okocha, kalou just to name a real small few that are in my head) and south americans (ronaldhino of course, yepes, cris, juninho, fred...) ... and what's great is out of all of this, a lot of them decide they don't want to leave anymore and want to stay (juninho is the best example)... and some say they want to come back (drogba/cisse both saying they'd like to come back to ligue 1, preferably marseille... as a result of this, france in general has been doing better in the past few years, and that can best be seen in their performances in the european cups (they are ahead of germany now in the uefa rankings) ... so while some teams (auxerre, lens, nantes, psg and others) are known for their youth schools, france is really well known for integrating players from all over which has made our championnat much better quality... I believe that it would be more appropriate to say that the french league as a whole is the blacksmith of talent.
That is more like it.
maybe, you're right guys. but if we take Cissé and Drogba - the players who made it cross the Channel not long ago - as an example of the quality you're talking about, we might as well consider Italy and Spain to be the producers of talent.
what exactly do you mean?
