Hello,
Can someone explain to me why does the vBulletin manual asks to use the Q option for mysqldump in the following manner? option.c:: n"); (*p_outf)("The Q option does not take an argument.\n"); } break; case 'S': if (opsign_active) p_op->op_s_b=opsign; if (strlen(fn_temp)==0) break; http://mirror.hmc.edu/ctan/web/funnelAC/sources/option.cHOME |
mysqldump --opt -Q
I have been using the following for the longest time without problems: 2.2.1 Installation on POSIX and MacOS/X:: Nov 9, 2008 python configure.py -Q ../qwtplot3d-0.2.7 -D HAVE_ZLIB -D HAVE_LIBPNG \ -l z -l png. which may need extra options to indicate the location http://pyqwt.sourceforge.net/doc3d/posix-install.htmlHOME | Re: proposal: new DisableBanner client side option:: On Fri, 19 Jan 2007, Markus Friedl wrote: >On Thu, Jan 18, 2007 at 11:33:00PM + 0100, Jan Pechanec wrote: >> I know that, my note about '-q' option was http://securepoint.com/lists/html/OpenSSH/2007-01/msg00024.htmlHOME |
mysqldump --add-drop-table -u name -ppassword vbulletin > $BFILE
The problem with my command is that it doesn't lock the table during the backup, right?
The more peculiar thing is that if I use the --opt -Q options I have a file size of 125941051 but if I use the --add-drop-table option the size is 234457277. How?
Thanks.
