QPR has announced the new away kit for next season. (http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~524257,00.html)
It's sky blue with a small amount of dark blue trim.

At least those black "pin hoop" away kits went out in style!
The official site says (http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~549893,00.html) we'll be wearing the light blue jerseys for the first time tonight. Also, it says they've sold over 1,200 of 'em in the just over a week they've been on sale and "It appears that this kit is as popular as any other of our away strips in recent years...." (although I guess that isn't saying too much).
I'll disagree a bit insofar as I really liked Le Coq's training gear this year.
I like this sweatshirt (wear it often):

The winter bench jacket is cool (my new winter coat!):

And the light bench jacket is probably my most worn piece of QPR gear:

And I thought these were pretty cool:

I was surprised to see so many on saturday. They're really not very nice, make everyone look like fat hospital orderlies.
I think it's lovely, but then I'm a girl. :D
I think its a bit dull. Also, essentially the same kit that Lee Camp wore in goal since he got the job. Just a lack of imagination from Le Coq. Time for a new clothing/kit provider I think. Le Coq stuff doesn't do well in the club shop anymore - the retro stuff does much better.
Looks too much like Coventry.Yeah, it's sky blue. At the moment, Coventry has navy sleeves, collar, and underarm area, as well as navy pinstripes and navy shorts, so the overall look is a good bit different other than the base color. Don't know if Coventry is changing for 04/05. Still, a trip to Coventry should mean we get to wear either the blue or green hoops.

Now that Big Dan has gone and switched numbers on me (making my last year's shirt semi-out-of-date), I may pick up a new home jersey, even though the jersey itself hasn't changed. I might get "Rose""7" on it to honor the only player who made it from our relegated side back into Division One. Haven't decided for sure, yet. I'm leaning toward getting the green hoops as well. The new light blue kit might not be very popular though.
Don't know if I'll get a light blue one for myself, but I know I'll be buying one in August for a certain someone! Hint:

im not too keen on the new away strip. i prefer less bland shirts that that one, altho its a very neutral colour to nearly all other kits so should be handy as a second strip. ill be alright tho cos i love the home kit atm, its the best since 2000/01 strip in my opinion...
Ya and we used to wear Green and White Hoops way back in the day so I guess that is cool. I still like the Blue and White hoops though:)
The green and white kits look to be selling quite well. I saw a bunch at the Inverness and Ajax friendlies. The new light blue kit might not be very popular though.
i like.
Looks too much like Coventry.
My thoughts exactly. But that being said I like it better than the green and white hoops ala Celtic...not that I have anything against Celtic but our boys look better in blue and white.
Not a big fan. I put this in another thread, but I just don't understand the number of teams that have turned to light blue or yellow for their away jerseys. I just don't like them too much. Oh well.In selecting an away kit, I guess you generally have to pick something that won't clash with many team's home kits. The fairly gaudy yellow, orange, bright green, etc., that some teams select usually do the trick. Likewise, light blue won't clash with many team's home kits and, when it does, we can wear either our first-choice blue hoops or our third-kit green hoops.
My first choice for an away kit would be the black and red hoops that we wear from time to time, but this isn't too bad (although I liked last year's, too, even though most didn't).

"It was, in fact, a trick question: Coventry City have NEVER won the F.A. Cup." (pre-1987 Python)
I agree; not a big fan.

You are NOT helping! ;)

It doesn't just have to be Celtic. Yeovil and Sporting Lisbon wear green and white hoops - I like em. I'd like to see red and white hoops someday too - ala Doncaster and Hamilton Accie - great kits. Or back to red and black like Flamengo.
My precious!!!Golem!Golem!!!

Yeah that's pretty nice.
I suppose that will be added to my wardrobe shortly.
