    I'm currently assesing options to launch a new forumsite, and of course I find myself looking at vB as the main contender, alongside SMF.

    The one thing that really draws me to SMF is they're Search Results. I love the way they show the posts that the Keyword is in, and they also show the sentence -- so you can quickly assess the results. You can see an example here:

    I just to want learn if I can implement that same thing with vB? I haven't seen any other vB's out there that offer this kind of search before, so I thought I'd ask since I personally find these of results friendly.

  • You can search by thread or by post, their's seems to be a hybrid between the two showing the specific hightlights. We do not specificly show that.
