Brent Mason
Brad Paisley
Albert Lee
Vince Gill
My personal favorite of those four would have to be Brad Paisley. I mean, they're all great, but Paisley's my favorite guitarist at this time and not just in country music!
For those who may be wondering, I did not include Danny Gatton or Redd Volkaert because of their tendencies to do a whole lot more than just country, though Gatton was a great guitarist and Volkaert still is. Check all of the mentioned guitarists out, if you haven't already--they're all very talented!
Brad is definitely the best
I am not really fimiliar with any of those artists except for Brad Paisley. His music is just ok to me. If you want a good "underground" country artists that I think plays good music, then check out Ryan Bingham. I heard him on Music Choice one day, and thought he was awesome.
Vince Gill is awfully good, but I am going to go with Albert Lee. He can play country and rock. I believe Eric Clapton used him one time. Albert works now with former Rolling Stone Bill Wyman some. Another one that was not mentioned was Keith Urban. Also the guy who plays for Dwight Yoakum is awfully good too.
