    I might work it out as a hack, the only thing I wonder is that it might be a good idea to integrate it with the PM system...

    The only thing you'll have to do is also put a query in global.php to check if the current user has a message and pop it up

    But we're getting offtopic..

    For the first link i'm getting "Page could not be found" and the second link loads the forum, but all image links are broken.

    Anyone else getting this?

    I agree. Having "Instant Messaging" instead of Private Messaging would be the next step in the evolution.


  • huh? Why does everyone always have to see everything as a contest. The database on ubbdev.com is a depository for helpful files to enhance your bbs. There is nothing that limits you to only using them on ubb. In fact in the near future you will see a merging of resources but I won't say any more about that.


  • You could add a query to global.php that looks at the session table and have it put the appropiate ONLINE or OFFLINE icon in showthread.php.
