Is there anything I can download for free from the net?? By the way my camera is the Sony alpha A100.
Really simple thing to do if you are using Windows XP would be to install this: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/prophoto/raw.mspx
Or if you are using photoshop: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html
I use Lightroom to store and organize my RAW files. I believe Aperture for Mac does the same type of thing.
Also, you could probably get another copy of what came with your camera if you talk to Sony if you really want that one.
If you're going into business then invest. Grab one of the many decent yet affordable packages like Adobe Lightroom. I use lightroom significantly more than Photoshop for my image editing needs. I also know several others who used it. It didn't take me much convincing to start.
