This is so cool.

QPR have already sold more season tix 3 months BEFORE the 2004-2005 season than they did in the ENTIRE 2000-2001 season, their last in Div 1.
Hey - an enthusiastic club, decent football, a competitive division next year - a season ticket makes sense. And I wouldn't be surprised if more than a few of those new tickets were being bought by people that used to go down to Stamford Bridge.
Excellent news - and bigger gates next year with sizeable away support at more matches.
According to the official site, the current total season tickets sold is 9,789, and they are going to limit season ticket sales to 11,300.
If they hit 11,300 with season ticket sales, they say that will leave approximately 1,500 home supporter single-game tickets for each match. There's going to be great atmosphere at Loftus Road this season, that's for sure.

'bout time they came to their senses!
Really good news. Looks like it'll be harder to get a Loft ticket when I come over next year, but if it means the club is on the up, that's alright with me!
Supporters were pretty optimistic last year after getting so near to promotion and we're over 25% ahead of that pace (and at higher prices for new purchases). Excellent stuff. Over 10K season tickets would be a great base to build on each week and, along with the increased attendance in the School End as mentioned by Kevin, will make for a great atmosphere this season!
UUUURRRRRRR's!
Beautiful. It's May 21st and we've surpassed last year's record by 200.
With a full two and a half months left until the new season, it is likely that sales will continue at a healthy rate, forcing the club to consider a limit which will preserve a percentage of seats for match day sale.
I'm going to end up with some crap seats next year -- no more Lower Loft, block J, row D, for me (where I sat 3 times this year) -- but it'll be beautiful!
Well on the way to 10K...
