OK, for some reason I don't know the MySQL database corrupted when I upgraded to the latest forum version.

How do I go about reinstalling the back ups I created.
I ran the back up from the control panel and saved the SQL file to my PC, but I have no idea or knowledge of SQL or telnet... Where do I need to upload the backup to and how to I reinstall it?
I am a real idiot with this stuff so please be nice to me.. :)
create a new database i.e. newdbname
and follow step 4. here http://vbulletin.com/manual/movingservers.html
and then change your config.php to point to newdbname
check to see if all works etc..
