Next week I have to go up to Cleveland. I am looking for restaurants near Cleveland Clinic, so I am hoping there is something near there. Anyone have any ideas, what do you recommend?
Little Italy is your best bet- Mama Santa's and Maxi's are my favorite casual spots. You can also go up the street to Coventry and hit Winking Lizard, Panini's, and a few other local spots. There are a bunch of fast food restaurants right at the Clinic, around Euclid and 79th (McDonald's, Burger King, etc.) On Carnegie, right on the Clinic campus, there's Table 45, which is fairly swanky.

Near University Circle (5 mins from the Clinic) there are a bunch of options, including Falafel Cafe, Mi Pueblo (good Mexican), Rascal House Pizza and Quiznos. Sergio's is on campus and is fairly fancy.

Little Italy is nearby and there are a bunch of good Italian places there -- including Mama Santa's, which makes good, cheap pizza. Presti's is an awesome bakery.
Down Carnegie (toward downtown, near the highway) there's Juniper Grill, which is a good breakfast/lunch spot.
There are a lot of restaurants in the area - here are some places broken down by the different neighborhoods:
Cedar Fairmount area of Cleveland Heights:
Nighttown - about five minutes from the Clinic on Cedar Road. Better atmosphere than food but not bad. Great patio if you like eating outside.
The Mad Greek - pretty good Greek food as the name implies. They also have an outside patio.
The Fairmount - More of a martini and wine bar than restaurant but they do serve appetizers and have a limited menu of entrees.
Aladdin's, Bruegger's Bagels and Starbucks are also in the same area if you're looking for something quick.
Little Italy and University Circle:
Sergio's - Brazilian restaurant which specializes in tapas and small plates on Ford Avenue near Case Western Law School.
Gusto - Good Italian food in Little Italy on Mayfield road.
Valerio's - small, intimate Italian restaurant with very good food also on Mayfield Road.
Finally, the Intercontinental Hotel is located on Carnegie Avenue right next to the Clinic. Their restaurant called Table 45 is good although the atmosphere is kind of bland.
