(Also please note that my boyfriend is working at his dream job, my dream job has always been that of teaching english..and i'm really sad that he doesn't approve of me going to university to achieve my dreams :(!!)
I think you should follow your dreams.
YOu should go for it and take your university course, if he loves you he will stand by you. Also point out to him that short term it will be hard up in the long run it will benefit you both.
Tell him think of all the benefits if you do get a teaching job and you have children once they start school you would not have hardly any child minding fees as you would be home in school hol's with them
