Apple - Support - Discussions - Java Script error message IE 5.1 :: While not every time, but often enough to be be a nuisance, I keep getting script error messages. It happens while webpages are loading. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=325721HOME | Hello all,
I am using the latest evaluation version of Outpost Firewall Pro 2.1
After installation I discoverd several problems, first of all the ICS thingy. Is it not possible that OP auto-discover the ICS settings? also I am lucky that I know somewhat about computers so that it was not a big problem to alter the outpost.ini the Interface section.
But thats not the problem...
The problem is that when ever I load a website i get a error message back from that website saying :
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/webhosting/users/ufoplaza.nl/header.php:34) in /var/webhosting/users/ufoplaza.nl/includes/sessions.php on line 364

When I turn OP off, the website will give me no problems at all. Also I tried to turn off all the plug-inns without any result..
Please help me
I have a win XP sp1
I use Opera 7.5 (but the problem also exists in IE)
thanks in advance
Maybe it's not for Opera. What does your blocked log say when you try to reach this site. I'm assuming that all your plug-ins are off. Is that right? It loads for me. Here's a bit of their header. I use the rules according to this 1.

Please check the rules for your browser according to the guide.
The html coding of the site is very strange. Have a look you'll see what I mean.
For instance this
is at top of page which is correct, but further down, it appears again followed by etc... as if for a new page.
None of my browsers will render the page with/without op running. I would contact the webmaster of the site.
I never had any problem with this website.
The problem came when i installed OP. But when I unload AND exit op, so it is not even in the system tray, the problem is gone.
It is not a script error, the error is somewhere in OP.
Hi amstelerdam,
I just went to the site without problem. You need to allow cookies, javascript, animated gif , referrers and ads.
If you don't want to make a rule, you can just disable AC and ad blocking when you go to that site ( but I suggest the rules) Make sure you empty your caches before you try to go back to the site. It is also possible that you need to take a look at your Opera configuration for cookies, java script, and animations.
It did look better in IE and Firefox, than in Opera. faster too. However, in IE I got a prompt fo activeX which would explain Opera not working properly as Opera does not support activeX.

thats the url which is giving me the problem.
When I shut-down all plug-inns, the problem is still there.
When I shut-down all plug-inns, shutdown and restart OP, the problem is still there.
When I shut-down AND exit OP the problem is GONE.
I searched my PC for virusses, no problem.
I searched my PC for trojans, no problem.
What are referres? and where do I change the settings? if it is in any of the plug-inns, than that is not the problem. BEcause when I shut-down ALL the plug-inns the problem is still there ???

I'm sorry but it doesn't make sense to me. Maybe someone else can comment or perhaps you need to ask Agnitum directly.
If I put my Opera 7.5 in the trusted applications, the problem is still there.
So I dont think it is a rule-setting problem.
nothing in the blocked log. it really is a strange problem. That site is the only one with that problem
Ive got the same problem with MSIE

This is what that site is showing as an error, under the banner you posted before.
And really, when I exit and unload OP, the problem is gone.
if I put my opera browser in trusted apps, problem is still there.
ALL plug-ins turned of, reboot pc, problem is still there.
????
well thanks for your time anyway :ty:
:hop: Maybe someone else can explain why this problem is happening ? :hop:
by the way, how can I ask agnitum? I have to be a registred user to get support from them
What site is giving you problems? It looks like a php forum.
When you turn off your plugins, try turning off OP, restart it and try the site again. Sounds like OP is blocking something from the forum. It'a an unusual error. I wonder why they need to modify header information. You checked your PC for malware, viruses, etc?
Same here, referrers on, and I tried toggling active content blocking off, and ad-blocking off (though not both at once).
Do you have referrers enabled? What does your Active Content log show blocked?
