I can't seem to find a way to do the equivelant of "Set Content" in one of the settings files (eg Sources.xml). There is a way to do this withoug going through the onscreen/remote interface, isn't there?
One of the reasons I ask, is that the onscreen setting is not "taking".
I'm sorry if this is obvious; however, I checked the wiki & searched the forums without luck.
On another note... Does anyone know of a keymap.xml key for "Skip to End" like the Tivo buttun/feature that jumps to the end of a video?
Thank you in advance!
It's the up arrow while video is playing with keyboard and default remote config. You'd have to check keymap.xml for other devices.
Thank you for this info.
Any idea how to do the "Set Content" through a config or by "importing libraries" as suggested earlier? I did not really understand this. PS - I noticed a very minor error in the wikie for the sources.xml. It mentions "videos" as the tag for Videos; however it is "Video".
Thanks again!
Wow, Thank you! I can't believe I never realized there is a "timeseekforwardbig"
How does one invoke the BIG seek?
You could always adjust the "big seek" to be larger in advancedsettings.xml, see wiki.
you can set content through library imports but really, it wouldnt help you one bit. there is a reason why it won't stick - try to find that instead. see logs etc.
and stop should be even better - that way you dont even have to watch the ending ;) no, theres no such action
Thank you very much for the reply. I will look to find the logs and see what is causing the problem. For informational purposes, how would I "Set content through Library Imports"?
The reason for the "Jump to End" button, is that if you miss something or need to jump towards the end of the program, it makes it a lot easier. You see, if you ever want to return to a program, it's very easy to navigate to the beginning; however, there is no quick or easy way to navigate to a region of the program towards the end. This button is very handy and commonly used in Tivo's demographic.
I personally haven't used Tivo for three years (favoring instead XBMC + TVTorrents); however, this is one feature that would be nice to have.
