adn.com | 2006 Gubernatorial election : Same-sex unions, drugs get :: Aug 6, 2006 "The people of Alaska should have the opportunity to vote on that issue and my marriage," said Croft, who has been married for 13 years. http://dwb.adn.com/news/politics/elections/governor06/story/8049298p-7942233c.htmlHOME | I found a note tucked under my windshield wiper today that said "I and my family would be dealt with if I voted for the N----r." I grew up and live in a town where bigotry and hatred was and is taught everywhere. My parents even taught me to hate blacks. I've grown past that now and I'm ready to vote for Obama. I'd be lying If I said I wasn't a little scared. You could never tell me that race and hatred was not a big part of this election.
Not that I don't think such places as you describe exist, but I think this question is pure fiction. Nobody knows for whom you vote unless you tell them.
dude, call the police
Just vote, they can't know for sure who you vote for.
Race and hatred might be a factor for some people of both races towards the other. You never know. Though I don't necessarily agree with who you are wanting to vote for, I would still suggest to you that you go ahead and vote for who you want anyway. That's the beauty of our system, votes are kept secret unless you tell someone. Mitt Romney on Abortion:: I never said I was pro-choice, but my position was effectively pro-choice. I changed my position. Personally pro-life, but government should not intrude http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Mitt_Romney_Abortion.htmHOME | vote - DEALING WITH THE CHANGES:: Even when his job was threatened, he voted his heart. My point is you should not vote for a candidate because they are most like you. http://my.opera.com/maddysman2003/blog/index.dml/tag/voteHOME |
don't advertise your vote- it's really that simple !
They will not know who you voted for, election ballots are private and are made so on purpose.
Uh you need to vote for whom you want. they can't find out, it's confidential. You need to call state police or FBI.
Look, do not vote for someone or against someone, because of their race or sex, etc. As for voting, this is a PRIVATE act!!!!!!! NO ONE will know! Were I you, I'd be advising the police of this threat (I think, but, this is easy for me to say, as I was not threatened.)
come on, vote your choice.
talk about it with your parents. see what they think. show them your views.
People suck. Of course you should vote for the person you really want. Then you can just lie about it. No one has to know who you voted for. Good for you for overcoming such bad influences.
In most states your vote is supposed to be a secret ballot. Who will know which candidate received your vote unless you tell. My being black also exposed me, like you to entrenched racial hatred. I was taught to shun all whites and those blacks who spoke and associated with whites. Sorry to say but racism is not the the unilateral action of white folks. We were also taught how to tolerate jewish merchants. Its a sorry state of affairs that these beliefs are still being taught. Have faith and change yourself, you are only accountable for your actions.
Noone is with you in the booth.
Why would a threat mean anything.
You need to go straight to your police office. Threatening bodily harm to you and your family is against the law.
noone has to know who you voted for... it's not like they can stand next to you as you fill out the ballot... just vote Obama if thats what you choose... noone has to know
We have a thing in the US called the secret ballet. It means you vote for who you want in private and no one see how you are voting. Cast your ballet any way you want and if you have to lie to someone asks how you voted, no one can prove otherwise
