I've been using XBMC and XBMP for about 4 or 5 years now.
I have never installed the M$dash. Newer even played an Xbox Game. Is there any benefit to using M$dash?
Am I missing out on something good?
I'm using a HiDef breakout box and optical audio.
Without M$dash.
I'll have to go home and check but I'm pretty sure I'm getting the Optical audio.
M$dash is used to enable optical audio and high definition video output. If your using the standard av cables that came with the xbox no need for M$dash
