How do I fix it?
Do not bleach nor dye your own hair. That's what hair salons are for! You are not going to be able to get rid of the yellowish look unless you bleached it good enough and that may take a while and is very dangerous to do by yourself. Let a professional do this for you, otherwise you may lose all of your hair... Holy Moly! Accidently bleached my hair with Cinnamon! - Page 15 :: 10 posts - Last post: Sep 21, 2008Re: Holy Moly! Depending on how "yellow" it is, helps to figure out what color you might want to use to counter act or neutralize the yellowish tone. Not seeing you in person, I would advise trying to get a really light blond color with a purple or violet base. Because the yellow in your hair is the base color trying to be toned down or neutralized, so, to do that, you will need a color with a violet to blue-violet base color. If it doesn't completely lift the yellow out, it should mute it down to a sandy blond, not strawberry blond or butter blond but, almost a muted beige.
you really need to go to a salon for a fix...this happened to me before and in the end i ended up w/ like a light rose color head of hair-that was before all these colors were the in thing-it was not pretty-...it's too hard to get the right "fix" with out the knowledge of the under bases of the dye-like violet or whatever...there are rinses too to get the brassiness out-but in the long run you will save your hair and money too if you just go have it done professionally...
