anyway- work the image pixel by pixel- you could even trace the thing and refine it as you go- adding in highlights etcC:-)

This photo is taken by helicopter so the angles would be really hard to reproduce exactly in another photograph. They seem to match perfectly.
I agree with Kirupa, it is a great idea to do the Statue of Liberty, but you should draw it your self. There is nothing against using that photo for reference.
It doesn't look like pixel art, and the plot size is weird :hitman2:
Try drawing the statue of liberty using some of the tutorials mentioned in the guidelines. I'm sure that will end up looking better than something that looks like a vectorized bitmap ;)
I just thought that I would let you know that I am not trying to discourage you from going along with the statue of liberty idea. Personally I think it would be a great addition to kirupaville, but you just have to spend some time drawing it, which I think, with a little bit of practice, would not be too hard.
Hope to see some renovation going on :D!
