Anyone know what gel I would need to convert a studio strobe that has a daylight balanced flashtube to give off a light closer to candlelight? I tried shooting in nothing but candlelight but found I needed a little umph so I added a strobe on a very low setting but the light from the strobe is A LOT bluer than the candle light. I want to balance the color of the strobe to the color of the candles.
Cheers,
If that is your only light source (or only temp) you could just use the flash without a gel and change your WB setting.
Present wrapping material???
BRILLIANT!!
Are you talking about focusing a very tight light like candle light or replicate the color? Because you can get Snoots. Something like this:

You'd probably be better off using a tobacco filter I would have said?
