Do candy companies in Europe and the UK pay a fixed price for sugar or
does it go up and down depending on supply and demand? Are they
expected to pay more for sugar this year? I know that the EU Sugar
regime has set a floor for the price that sugar refiners pay, but I
don't know if that also establishes a ceiling.
