Putting on a trench coat that I had not worn in some time, I found a short love note written my by late husband before his death. At first I was saddened, but then felt better knowing of his unabashed love for me. It is better to have loved and lost, than not to have loved at all.

It was disgusting...i was doing the weekend washing and I emptied the lodgers pockets and out popped a used tampon...what that was doing in his pocket I'll never know to this day,bit it certainly makes the mind boggle.

on getting onto a bus, i reached for the quids and pennys and my pockets all laughed at me. There was this awkward silence and everyone was waiting for me to pay when i shamefully turned back to leave, the driver said "it's ok come on". well dressed but no money then?! so embarrassing.
