When i view my swf online for the first time before it is loaded into cache, it plays very slowly, but when i refresh it plays smoothly at it should. I have tried with two different preloaders but still the same problem. If it preloads and the files are on the harddrive then it should play smooth the first time aswell, am I wrong? I would first suspect your preloader is malfunctioning. I doubt I could help you with it, but if you post a link to it (if it's online) others here should be able to help you with it.
