I have a large table with some cells containing text lables and some cells set up to recieve input, some of which are set up as fields.
I would like to be able to protect the cells that are lables, but leave the other cells alone.
Can this be done?
Stan
You can do this using the Forms toolbar. Insert the type of field that you want (text, dropdown, or checkbox), and protect the form when you are finished. You will be able to change data only in the form fields you entered.
If you need the user to be able to change other text, you will have to enter section breaks around the area that you wish them to be able to change and then instead of protecting the whole doc do not protect the sections that you want them to be able to make changes in.
