3. How old must you be to get it with consent? Without consent?

1.) Depends on where you go. Most places have a mimimum they'll charge you, usually somehwhere between $50 - $70. I have a tiny kanji tattoo on my hip that I paid $50 for. It depends on how big the tattoo is, how much color, how much black and gray... Go into a shop either with what you want or explain what you want to an artist and they are usually happy to quote you.
2.) I have three, and the least painful of mine was my lower back. They'll hurt no matter where you put 'em, it is a needle poking you over and over. But the pain isn't that bad... It's tolerable, and over pretty quickly. I hear your ribs and inside of your arm are the MOST painful, so steer clear of there. 3.) Without consent, you have to be 18, and with, I think it depends on the state. A lot of reputable places probably won't tattoo anyone younger then 16, but it depends. Again, artists will be happy to answer how young they'll tattoo.
4.) Make sure you eat before you go, there's a possibility you could pass out if you don't. Make sure you breathe throughout it. It's kind of a natural reaction to hold your breath when they're doing it, so make sure to keep on breathing. Be sure to tip your artist when they're done, as long as you're happy with the work. If you decide to go back to them in the future, they'll make sure they do the best job they can. Don't psyche yourself out too much over it. Like I said, they hurt, but it's not too bad, otherwise so many people wouldn't get them. Make sure you put a lot of thought into what you're getting, it's gonna be on your body for the rest of your life and you don't wanna regret it later on. Make sure you take good care of it. Wash it daily gently with Dial antibacterial soap (the gold one) and apply unscented Lubriderm once or twice daily. It's gonna flake off little colored scabs, so don't freak when little pink/blue/red/yellow/black scabs start falling off. It's normal. Be sure to look into the place you wanna get it done and make sure it's reputible and that they're using sterile needles.
That's all I can think of... So good luck!!!
There different prices so you never know but the least painful place is on your arm.. I have 2 tats on my arm and I have a butterfly on my stomach by my navel and it hurt like hell, if your gonna get one at a Shop, you will have to be atleast 18 and make sure their needles are sterile..
It depends on what you get
on your arm or your leg some people are different so.......
any age as long as u have a parent with you, without 18 with an id card
thats about it
1.depends
on size,
if it colored or black and gray,
where you get it,
where you go,
and how complicated the piece is
2.Pain is different
some say that wrists hurt really bad but I enjoyed getting my wrist tattooed.
some say ribs are the worst
the back of my arm hurt really bad but the front of it was a piece of cake
the back I barely felt it

they are sore for a while
don't soak them until they are healed
wash them as often as your artist tells you too
remember your after care instructions, they are very important
you have to baby them
check out the artists portfolio before you get inked
If you think its infected, get it checked out.
I'm too tired I can't think of anything else.I hope this helped!
The price depends on where you go,what you get and what size you get it. Most place you can get it with consent at any age and without is usually 18. They are there forever so make sure you think about it really good.
about a million kabillion dollars Report Abuse
cost will vary depending on size/ detail. a good tattoo artist will charge about $200 an hour.
least painful place (though they don't really hurt) would be the arm. between elbow and shoulder. (the cliche place for a tattoo) near the bicept. you know where i mean...
any tattoo shop that tattoos anyone under 18, concent or not, should be shut down. teens don't (for the most part, anyway) know what they want. let alone what they are going to want in 40 years.
don't get it anywhere that will not be completely covered with a short sleeved shirt until you have a job you want to do for the rest of your life, and know they are going to be ok with it.
1. Every place charges different. I'd say anywhere from $60 - $300... but you never know.
2. I've done my ankle, stomach, and upper back. While the stomach only tickled the upper back hurt a little and the ankle was the worst.
3. With consent I'm not sure it matters? W/o you need to be 18.
4. Make sure it's something you really want and check out the artists work before you let them tattoo you. Make sure the place is clean and that they clean the needles good or replace them after each use.
Good luck!
